The game by developers at IO Interactive, "Hitman," had just posted on their official website the details regarding the next downloadable content (DLC) that they will be released this month. However, players might be expecting a season 2 type of DLC, but the upcoming one will not be like that.

In the statement posted by IO Interactive, they will be including Featured Contracts, a Challenge Pack, and Curated Contracts in the next DLC. Featured Contracts will be contracts that the developers have deemed to be "interesting" and challenging for players who want to hone their craft in being assassins. These have been created by player suggestions in the official "Hitman" forum, and the creators have proven that they listened to the feedback given to them.

The Featured Contracts will be available to players as early as Oct. 13, along with the Master Scarecrow Challenge Pack which will contain five brand new challenges that is focused on "location mastery." Upon completing these challenges, Agent 47 will have unlocked a new and undisclosed item, possibly a weapon, which he will be able to use throughout the game.

On the other hand, the Curated Contracts DLC pack will arrive much later than the previous two this month, with 10 contracts. IO Interactive stated that the Curated Contracts will be relatively the same as the Featured Contracts, except with 5 more challenges in comparison. To note, real-life players actually have contributed in the creation of these challenges. One notable player is the infamous British "Hitman" speedrunner, Hatch.

According to Gamespot, this month is a good one for "Hitman" players to look forward to since there will be a wide array of upcoming content for them to engage in. The numerous upcoming additions is probably stemmed in IO Interactive's motivations to prove to the world that they can still come up with new material, despite being sold by previous owners and co-developer, Square Enix. Since June, IO Interactive has been acting independently.

The "Hitman" downloadable packs will all be available on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC by Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. EDT.
