The fourth season of "House of Cards" is underway and fans are already speculating the death of a major character, because that's the hype these days for TV series.

One such speculation points out to the possible death of Michael Kelly's character, Doug Stamper.

In a report from Deadline, Kelly revealed that he was Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) confidant, but the story could change; and it only means that nobody is safe from being killed off until the official airing of season four.

Show creator Beau Willimon may have hinted that Doug will not get killed in the upcoming season since he told Kelly, "Come on, I'm not getting rid of you," according to the Deadline report.

However, Kelly doubted that because he said in the same report that the show is "House of Cards" and it is expected that great characters will be terminated.

Will Stamper be out of the show soon or are they just mere speculations? Fans have to find out when the fourth season airs in 2016.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that the show will welcome a new cast member in Neve Campbell, who is said to play a recurring character in the series. However, more details about her character have yet to be given by the network.

While her story still remains a mystery, it has been speculated that Campbell's character, together with her partner, will become rivals with Frank Underwood for the coming elections, as reported in Movie News Guide.

It could also be possible that the existence of the new couple would urge Frank to ask help from his ex-wife Claire and if that would be the case, the show would see Frank and Claire back together.

Other reports also stated that the brand new season will focus more on the aftermath of the Underwood couple's breakup. It has also been speculated that the two might even compete for the presidential seat.

Nothing remains certain and fans will just have to wait next year so that all of their questions from the previous season will be answered.
