Award-winning Netflix political-drama series "House of Cards" is set to for a season 6 premiere, but it is not yet due until June 2018. Still, fans are pining for spoilers and scenes to look forward to, making up for the long, hard wait they have to endure before season 6. Thankfully, Michael Kelly, who plays the role of Doug, has obliged and gave some teasers about the show.

"We are going to do some bad things along the way, but it's all for the greater good for the American people — we both believe Frank Underwood is the perfect person to the lead the country. But yeah, it's bad for the greater good," Kelly said in an interview.

Now that Claire (Robin Wright) is inaugurated as America's newest president, it seems that season 6 will focus on Frank's (Kevin Spacey) jealousy towards her success and his plot to undermine her position and take over her role as president which he thinks is best suited for himself. According to International Business Times, Frank will team up with Doug and LeAnn Harvey (Neve Campbell) in the new season.

Showrunners Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson earlier stated that "House of Cards" season 6 will also focus on Claire and her capabilities in running the administration. Spoilers also tout that Frank's jealousy towards his wife's success will likely gobble him up, but being the second half of the Underwood duo, Claire might expect his sneaky moves.

"Her relationship with the audience is inevitably different. She and Frank are very different characters and have different needs in terms of that relationship," Gibson earlier revealed to the Hollywood Reporter.

"When she breaks the fourth wall for the first time and says, 'It's not that I haven't known you were there,' that points to our exploration of what's different about her relationship with the audience," he added.

"House of Cards" season 6's renewal is yet to be announced by Netflix.
