Netflix political drama series "House of Cards" has a lot of reformatting to do after its lead star, Kevin Spacey, was accused of sexual harassment. Because of the issue, episodes involving Spacey will be totally scrapped and the series will continue without his character.

The scandal broke out while the show is filming for its sixth season. Two episodes were already done filming featuring the actor. According to Vulture, producers plan on scrapping most of the footage that they did last October. The two episodes will now be tossed, as well as the five or six scripts that were written with Spacey's character, Frank Underwood.

Due to the sexual abuse allegations to Spacey, showrunners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese need to rewrite the story. The eight-month plan for the show is now totally scrapped, and they need to rewrite season 6 quickly before it returns next year.

Fans are wondering how the showrunners will write off Frank Underwood from the story. Based on the British version of "House of Cards," the character Francis Urquhart (Ian Richardson), which inspired Frank, was killed by a gunshot. With this, it is possible that Frank will die in a similar way. Due to political interest, it is also possible that his wife, Claire Underwood, will kill him. The spotlight will then switch to Claire, portrayed by Robin Wright.

According to reports, there are several "House of Cards" spin-offs that may happen in the future, wherein one is based on Michael Kelly's character Doug Stamper, a political aide-de-camp to Frank. There are also two other spin-offs that are reportedly being workshopped, but there are no details about it yet. The sixth season of the show is the final season after it was canceled by Netflix in the wake of the allegations to Spacey.

To recall, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexual abuse that happened back in 1986 when he was just 14 years old. Rapp said that they were at a party when Spacey, who was 26 years old that time, carried him into his bedroom and climbed on top of him. Aside from Rapp, there are also other people who stepped forward claiming other sexual misconducts of the actor.
