Recently, Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard slammed reports that he is unhappy with his current situation playing behind the shadow of All-Star guard James Harden, but National Basketball Association (NBA) writer Chris Sheridan insisted that the big man is not enjoying his stay with the team. 

In one of his previous reports, Sheridan, citing multiple sources, wrote that Howard is "extremely unhappy in Houston playing second fiddle to alpha dog James Harden."

Sheridan suggested that Howard will be leaving Houston soon and was very confident even predicting that the former All-Star will be wearing a Miami Heat uniform by the end of February. 

Immediately after the reports came out, Howard denied them and said he is trying to stay positive despite the Rockets' struggles early this season. 

However, it seems like Sheridan is not buying Howard's statements and wrote in a report last Thursday that there are no lies in what he said. 

"There are no lies in my story. I am very well-sourced around the league, and people tell me things that they would not tell other journalists. The sources for this story are exceptionally plugged-in to what is going on with the Rockets," Sheridan wrote.

He also added that it is not a rumor and he stands by his report regarding Howard's feelings playing for the Rockets. 

Unlike his days with the Orlando Magic, Howard is no longer that center who can carry a franchise to an NBA Finals. 

Now, the 30-year-old center is having a hard time with his production, although he is still averaging a double-double each game, is already sharing the center position with budding big man Clint Capela.

As he starts having a lesser role together with the Rockets finding it hard to win this season, his name is being involved in trade talks and rumors that will likely not end soon.
