With the third installation of "How to Get Away with Murder", a new cast has been added to the legal drama series. Luna Vélez, who played Captain Maria Laguerta of "Dexter", is the new addition in the cast of HTGAWM. She will play as the president of Middleton University where Annalise Keating is working as a professor of law. Her name for the season, and if there would be a bigger role for her in Annalise Keating's life other than being her boss, were not yet confirmed.

An article by Ecumenical News showed a photo teaser that was posted by creator Pete Nowalk on Instagram. The photo shows three different screens focusing on the characters of the cast. Notable characters in the picture are Connor (Jack Falahee), Bonnie (Liza Weil), Laurel (Karla Souza), and Asher (Matt McGorry).

Nowalk captioned the photo "First shoot day of Season 3." Asher and Bonnie seemed to be working on the same scene without the presence of Michaela.

Viewers anticipate the love affair that might develop between the three. A conflict remains between Bonnie, Asher, and Michaela after Asher and Michaela shared a kiss in the last episode of the second season, and it remains to be seen if it will progress to that direction. Viola Davis, who plays as Annalise Keating, also posted a photo tease on her Instagram, with a caption "Fasten your seat belt for Season 3."

The show's known to use frequent flashbacks and time leaps for added suspense and mystery. The viewers were left to figure out who did a murder and who were his or her accomplice. Knowledge of the law gives them advantage to circle around a situation. With the frequent photo teasers of the people behind the show, it is still uncertain if they will incorporate the same method.

"How to Get Away with Murder" will be aired on September 22, 2016 at 10pm on ABC.
