Inching closer to the HTC 10's launch date, the upcoming flagship iteration is said be a game changer in the smartphone wars, particularly with its new Super LCD 5 display.

According to Phone Arena, new supposed leaks about the upcoming HTC 10 flagship emerged, and the leaked features may make the new iteration a game changer.

Reportedly, the new HTC 10 will sport a Super LCD 5 display as one of its main features. This new technology is supposedly a game changer in the smartphone and mobile device industry, as a Super LCD 5 display makes for a brighter and more responsive screen. Apparently, this is due to the construction of the display itself – there is no air gap between the outer glass protector and the actual display hardware component itself. When viewed from a user's perspective, this makes the display "pop out" by increasing visibility and decreasing glare.

Meanwhile, the display feature is also said to complement the HTC 10's usage and standby time. Another leak details that the new HTC flagship will ship out with a 3,000 mAh battery. While this may seem an average number when compared with the power capacities of some of recently released flagships, the Super LCD 5 display is said to provide low power consumption, which compensates for the average battery capacity.

Aside from the Super LCD 5 display, teasers from HTC about the new flagship is building up the HTC 10 to be above other flagship iterations. According to rumors, one major feature of the new flagship is its new camera setup, and HTC is placing it to have a "world-class" assembly.

Other rumored specs of the HTC 10 include a Snapdragon 820 processor, at least 3GB of RAM and USB Type-C connectivity.
