HTC has an event scheduled on Sept. 29 and according to tech tipster @LlabTooFeR, this will also be the day the company will finally unveil the two new smartphones it dubbed "dual flagships," which the leakster believes would turn out to be the HTC Butterfly 3 and the revamped version of the HTC One M9 Plus. 

Interestingly, though, majority of previous reports claimed that the latest Butterfly, which already made its way to Japan, is going to be released in China alongside the HTC One A9 aka Aero and not a newer One M9 Plus. Nonetheless, since the special event is less than a week away, the tech world won't have to wait that long to know which two flagships the Taiwan-based manufacturer will unveil. 

Each of these smartphones has been leaked in the past. The Butterfly 3 is said to be released exclusively in China. It is believed to come with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display and will apparently be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The smartphone should be lightning fast with this unit, especially if it will really end up with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. The camera on the back will be hefty at 20 MP. This unit will have LED flash, too. Users who love taking countless selfies should fall in love with its 13-MP shooter on its front. 

Speaking of imaging, the HTC One M9 Plus is said to be released with camera improvements. Its rear-facing snapper will reportedly be integrated with optical image stabilization and will be made more accurate and quicker when focusing. The rest on its alleged specs include a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a MediaTek MT6795T processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. This device is reportedly going to be launched by HTC globally.
