HTC is planning to have a big reveal during the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year, but it won't be its flagship phone.

The mobile phone manufacturer made an announcement over its official Sina Weibo account, using the tagline "Always Desire More." This indicates that the earlier leaked reports by tipster @upleaks, claiming that the Taiwanese company will unveil a model from its HTC Desire smartphone line, are accurate.

The gadget tipster believes that HTC will be announcing the release of their latest selfie-dedicated phone dubbed as the HTC Desire A52. The said device will reportedly have a whopping 13-megapixel front-facing camera just like the new Desire Eye and the soon-to-be-released flagship phone, the HTC Hima.

Leaked reports stated that the device will have at least a 5-inch touchscreen display as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It will also have a rear end UltraPixel shooter, which reportedly boasts four megapixels. The smartphone is also reported to come in a wide selection of colors, such as Navy Blue/Vivid Blue, Terra White/Tangerine Tango, Taupe Terra White/Almond, as well as Purple/Tangerine Tango.

If HTC will launch the device during next week's CES 2015 event, the device will reportedly sell in selected markets like Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, China, as well as Taiwan. It may also head over to the European and American markets, but the dates for its availability is still undisclosed.

Other pieces of information are still unrevealed, including the actual size of the device as well as the features and specs under the hood.

It is also reported that HTC will launch a mid-range smartphone during the event, but there are no complete details about it yet.

The Weibo teaser from HTC also mentioned the dates and time of their press conferences during the CES 2015 event.
