Consumers can now get their hands on the new HTC Nexus 9 through the Google Play Store.

Google Play Store lists the WiFi variant of Nexus 9 and will ship the device in one to two days. The website offers the Lunar White and Indigo Black models. Moreover, the website will offer the LTE variant very soon.

The Nexus 9 tablet was announced on Oct. 16 and pre-order of the device started the day after, on Oct. 17, with shipping dates starting Nov. 3. The device costs $399 for the 16 GB model while the 32 GB model costs $479.

Meanwhile, Autoomobile stated that the Nexus 9 tablet is currently out of stock in Amazon. It was previously reported that Amazon U.K. was having difficulty with the supply and has delayed the shipping date of the device to Dec. 15.

Many consumers reportedly opted to place their pre-orders in Amazon because of the next day delivery, but due to the current delay in shipment, a lot of consumers have allegedly canceled their orders from the online store.  It seems, however, that Amazon is the only retailer having supply issues as there is no word yet from other retailers.

The Nexus 9 is one of the popular tablets in the market today because of its specs and features.  It boasts an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with Quad HD (1536 x 2048) screen resolution. The tablet is equipped with Nvidia's 64-bit-enabled Tegra K1 chipset with dual-core 2.3 Denver CPU and Kepler DX1 GPU paired with 3 GB RAM.

The tablet runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop which supports 64-bit chipsets and gives rise to new software features.  It is equipped with an 8 MP back camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 1.6 MP front facing camera, stereo speakers with HTC Boomsound, and a 6700 mAh battery. The device also comes with WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, microUSB 2.0, and is available in 16 GB and 32 GB of internal storage variants.
