It seems like HTC did not want to make a fuss (or a bigger racket) out of the One E9+ so it put up a dedicated page for the device without saying a word or alerting anyone. While it did not mention details about its release date, HTC revealed specs that closely match the ones from rumor mills. 

Noteworthy though is that HTC listed differing details in the features and specifications page. For example, the pixel resolution was listed 2K but the specifications page says it will be at 1080 only. This raises the speculation that the page might be intended for its rumored kin, the HTC One E9. 

Nevertheless, new details have made the device tangible. The Taiwan-based manufacturer revealed that the smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch ultra high definition 2K display that equates to a strapping 534 ppi pixel density. This makes it the sharpest handset HTC has ever produced. 

The HTC One E9+ will also be carrying a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with a single-LED flash and a mic intended for video recording. In the specifications page, HTC listed 13 megapixels, which may be the one the HTC One E9 will get. It also comes with a 4-UltraPixel selfie shooter. 

Under the hood is a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795M chipset paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage that is expandable with a microSD card. The HTC One E9+ will support Android Lollipop, which is complemented with the HTC Sense 7 UI. 

Furthermore, there are beautiful Dolby Audio HTC BoomSound speakers sitting at the frontage of the device and a 2800 mAh battery unit to make all of that work. The strapping specs will be dressed up with outward shells dipped in meteor grey, gold sepia and classic rose gold. 

At the moment, it looks like China is the only country that will get to see it in the flesh. But there is huge expectation that HTC will make the all-metal device available across the globe. The HTC One E9+ is expected to come out on April 8.
