Hugh Jackman, who is popularly known for his role as the fast-healing, non-aging, adamantium-clawed superhero "Wolverine," is not indestructible at all. While Wolverine can heal from anything, Jackman had to undergo his third skin cancer treatment this year.

Jackman, 46 years old, came out and revealed last November 2013 that he was undergoing skin cancer treatment for the first time. He had another treatment back in May and only recently, he went through his third basal cell carcinoma diagnosis within 12 months.

Nonetheless, despite going under the knife again this soon, Jackman remains positive about his treatments and blames it on not wearing sunscreen. He also said that this won't be his last treatment.

"I'm realistic about the future and it's more than likely that I'll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie, particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don't remember ever being told to put sunscreen on," Jackman told The Associated Press.

"But the beauty of this is it's all preventable, it's just about getting proper check-ups. I can be [a] typical man, a little lazy, I couldn't be bothered and now I'm not lazy at all," he added.

US Weekly reported that Jackman was seen with a bandage on his nose over the weekend. He was walking his dog in New York City and fans would like to believe that he is definitely wearing sunscreen now.

Last Monday, Jackman posted a photo on his Instagram account.

The photo says, "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)" and then it was captioned with "SUNSCREEN."

The actor could not reiterate enough how important sunscreen is. Then again, this should be a wake-up call to everyone. No one is safe from cancer, yes, not even Wolverine.
