'Hunger Games 3: Mockingjay' news: Filming concludes, sad goodbyes

"Hunger Games: Mockingjay" is the last installment of the popular book series and fans cannot wait to find out what will happen in parts 1 and 2.

Most of the biggest and important scenes are expected take place in Part 2, while part 1 is merely a platform to set up what is to come—the war.

Suzanne Collins, the author of the books, says that "Mockingjay" is the least bloodiest of all the books. But since everyone sees it on the big screen, there's an advantage. The story can become bigger in the movies. We can speculate that the war will be spectacular in "Mockingjay."

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that filming for the last movie is already finished. Nina Jacobson, producer of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay," tweeted "That's a wrap. Thank you Suzanne Collins (author of the original book series) Thank you (director) Francis Lawrence. Thank you HG Fans. Other than that, I'm speechless." She also posted a photo of a group hug together with the tweet.

Sam Clafin is the newest cast member in the movie and he also expressed his bittersweet goodbye and happiness in a tweet: "I just want/need to express my many thanks to everyone (cast, crew & fans) who have worked so hard for so long to make The Hunger Games experience what it is, but for also trusting me enough to let me be part of it. I feel privileged, honoured and so very lucky to have shared this opportunity with so many passionate & talented people. #dreamjob" Obviously, Clafin is very happy to be part of the project.

We can all expect "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" to hit theaters on November 21. The Part 2 will premiere exactly one year after.
