The Indiana Pacers are continuing their climb in the Eastern Conference standings and last Tuesday captured their third consecutive win thrashing the Washington Wizards on the road, 123–106.

Leading the charge for the Pacers was former All-Star forward Paul George who shot excellently against the Wizards.

George shot 14 of 19 in their game last Tuesday which included seven of eight from a three-point territory to score a total of 40 points for Indiana, which came along with eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 37 minutes of action.

But it was not just George who had a great shooting night, as together with his seven long distance bombs, the Pacers made a total of 19 three-pointers versus the Wizards.

"We always get overlooked. We're still getting used to the system, but now we're flowing," George said according to the Associated Press.

Another Pacer who had a standout performance was forward C.J. Miles who also had a hot shooting hand Tuesday.

Miles scored 32 points, shooting 10 of 16 from the field and was eight of nine from the three-point area.

George and Miles combined made 15 of the Pacers' 19 three-pointers which torched the Wizards.

Because of the way they played and their shooting in the win, George joked in his postgame interview with FOX Sports Indiana saying that he and Miles are the Eastern Conference version of the Splash Brothers.

The Splash Brothers was a monicker given to the backcourt tandem of the defending champions Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Indiana point guard George Hill, who returned after missing their past three games due to a respiratory infection, contributed 14 points, four rebounds, five assists, and one steal in the victory.

The win gave the Pacers a 9–5 record for the third spot in the conference, they currently have an identical record with the Miami Heat who are on the fourth spot.

Up next for the Pacers is a home stand this Friday taking on the second best team in the East, the Chicago Bulls.
