Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors live stream (NBA 2015 Preview): Pacers go small ball

Indiana Pacers president Larry Bird opting for an up-tempo style of basketball will be put to the test when the Pacers meet the dangerous Toronto Raptors.

The Pacers will be entering this season without two notable big men from last season. Gone are Roy Hibbert who is now with the Los Angeles Lakers and David West who opted for a smaller deal to join the San Antonio Spurs.

With the two out, Ian Mahinmi mans the slot with Paul George at power forward. The new style will provide a glimpse if George has been able to adjust to his new position.

There is, of course, a concern on the defensive end, particularly the part when big men start to dominate. Expect a lot of double-teaming, coupled with run and gun offense, to try offset the size disparity.

The Raptors will be wary of this approach and they have more likely made necessary adjustments heading into the game.

Toronto made key additions for the season, including DeMarre Carroll, Cory Joseph, Luis Scola, and Bismack Biyombo. This makes the Raptors a decent team that the Pacers cannot take for granted.

Back as well, of course, is Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, comprising a dangerous Raptor squad that could create the mismatches.

But the focus of the night will be on Paul George. George sat out most of last season due to a leg injury, although he did play a couple of games toward the end of the regular season. With a full offseason to get back in shape, there are high expectations from the Pacers star. Hopefully, his return can help out the Pacers.

The Toronto Raptors host the Indiana Pacers at the Air Canada Centre today, Oct. 28, with the game kicking off at 7:30 p.m. EST. The game can be watched via live stream here.
