The upcoming game "Injustice 2" is almost certain to get the character Red Hood as the newest addition to its roster, with Ed Boon asking everyone in Twitter, "Which Red Hood do you think should be in Injustice 2?" He provided two choices: Joker and Jason Todd.

According to Game Spot, Joker can be played as a character in the 2013 game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" but Jason Todd was not. With this, a lot of players are choosing Todd in Boon's poll and as such he has a considerable lead compared to Joker. As most comic book fans can remember, Joker was known to be Red Hood before the accident transformed him. In the later DC comics, however, Jason Todd, who was formerly Robin, became known with the alias after returning back from the grave during the "Death in the Family" comics arc.

This is a nice deviation from Ed Boon's Twitter antics, since this time he did not go with his normal teasers such as teasing fans or giving very cryptic hints. Asking the community about the Red hood version they want for the new "Injustice" game is certainly refreshing, and even up now players can cast their votes.

A possible reason for the Studio asking their fans for input might be due to the fact that there are still a lot of spots to be filled in this game's final roster before its expected 2017 release. After all, according to Game Rant the only confirmed characters so far include Supergirl, Batman, Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman. With this, a lot of fans are expecting that the number of revealed characters will increase the closer the launch date.

Unfortunately, however, NetherRealm Studios has not given any information about the release of its new and official reveal, but it might be possible that GamesCon in Cologne, Germany, could potentially net fans more information.
