iOS 8.3 Jailbreak release date news: Will an iOS 8.3 jailbreak from Pangu matter in July 2015?

For the Apple users who have been constantly awaiting a jailbreak for iOS 8.3, that could all happen by next month. But it would all depend if Pangu, the team behind the said jailbreak would actually release it to the public.

Techno Buffalo reports that a new untethered jailbreak was recently unveiled at the MOSEC 2015 security conference by the PANGU team though it remains to be seen if the celebrated jailbreak would be made available to users. At the same time, it is widely believed that the Pangu team is also working on an iOS 8.4 jailbreak though this angle has yet to be confirmed.

With that thought, Apple owners may be in a dilemma right now, particularly the ones who resort to jailbreaks.

Should iOS 8.3 indeed be released, such could eventually be useless especially when the iOS 8.4 comes out. Though there is no word yet on when Apple would release the next iOS, it is believed that it may come out before the month ends.

If that happens, it would make the iOS 8.3 jailbreak (if released) totally useless. That is unless users would opt to forego upgrading to iOS 8.4 for the time being.

Right now, Pangu is the only jailbreaking team working on an iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4 jailbreak with TaiG opting to focus on iOS 9.0.

iOS 9.0 is seen as perhaps the hardest OS to jailbreak, especially with word that Apple may include a new security feature called Rootless.

If the said security feature holds true to its billing, jailbreaker may find it doubly hard to find vulnerabilities in the operating system and access the protected files on any Apple device.

Though the task may seem daunting, it remains that a jailbreak for iOS9 is still possible. But judging at the rate the jailbreakers have tried to come up with one for iOS 8.3 and 8.4, it won't be surprising if that version could come out a wee bit too late as well.
