Is the iPad's largest version coming out in time for the holidays this year? 

Recent reports claim that the Cupertino-based tech firm had been in talks with South Korea's Samsung and Japan's Sharp Corporation to supply the panels that will be needed to put together the upcoming iPad Pro device. The information allegedly came from TechNews.tw, which also said that the new version of the mobile tablet will come out with a massive 12.9-inch screen. 

Sharp had been known for working with Apple Inc. as one of their suppliers for the iPad panels, and they could supply the bigger 264 ppi, 2732 × 2048 pixel resolution display needed for the bigger version of the tablet. Samsung only got the deal with the American tech firm recently after the panels it submitted for testing passed Apple's quality standard for the same panel requirement. 

Aside from the two companies, the Taiwanese website also reported that LG was also tapped by Apple Inc. as the third supplier if the demand for the product increases. 

Other rumors mention that the iPad Pro will be powered by both the iOS mobile operating system and the OS X El Capitan, which could mean that the upcoming device will be a hybrid computer product that can perform bigger tasks. 

The iPad Pro will also come with the high-end A9 chipset, a USB Type-C port, a brand-new stylus pen with Bluetooth technology, as well as the groundbreaking Force Touch technology that was introduced by the company with the release of the Apple Watch. 

Inferse recently noted that the Cupertino-based company recorded a decline in the sales of their iPad devices in recent years as consumers found little improvements on the product line. This is presumably why Apple Inc. has decided to come up with bigger additions to their next iPad release, including the capacity to multi-task.

Apple Inc. has yet to confirm the reports about the iPad Pro.
