iPhone 6: Tips and tricks for camera, Siri and display for convenient mobile life

Apple continues to be a household name worldwide, and one of their flagship products, the iPhone, keeps on getting better and better. With hundreds of brilliant features, the newest version of this device, the iPhone 6, is an impressive tool. However, most people don't realize that beneath the veneer and the name, the iPhone 6 has numerous tricks up its sleeve to make mobile living a breeze.

Retina HD display

One of the secrets of the iPhone 6's Retina HD display is its "reachability" feature. This option makes it easy for users to reach items at the top of the screen one-handed. Users just need to double touch the Home button without pressing and, automatically, the screen shifts down closer to the user's thumb placement. Once the user selects what app or service they want, the screen then slides back up to the top.

The iPhone 6 also allows users to zoom in on their display, and this can be done with Display Zoom. Adjustment can be made in the Display and Brightness View, under Settings. Also, some apps like Calendar, Clock, and Messages can be viewed in landscape mode so that users can view more content.

Camera

In the iPhone 6, users can manually control the slo-mo speed when taking videos. One can tap on the fps icon on the screen, and choose between the faster 240 and slower 120 fps. Face Time HD also had an upgrade with the Burst mode, wherein the camera takes 10 shots and suggests which ones are the best for uploads. Users can also automatically adjust exposure right on the camera app itself by tapping anywhere on the screen and sliding up and down to adjust.

Siri

The voice-activated Siri got an upgrade, too. If users want to talk to Siri hands-free, they can change settings and activate the virtual assistant without touch. Also, Siri can now name the song playing in the background, telling the title and artist.
