iPhone 6s release date with Force Touch feature

The smartphone grapevine has been rife with rumors regarding the next Apple flagship. And with reports about the upcoming iOS 9 being heavy on major improvements such as new multi-tasking features, new system fonts, and major tweaks in apps such as Maps, Apple fans are now looking forward to the next iPhone.

Whether it be an iPhone 7 or an improved iPhone 6s, the next Apple smartphone is said to carry some minor tweaks which may also revolutionize the next device's interface.

Current reports suggest that the iPhone 6s will be including Force Touch technology as part of its new features. While some say that it will still look like the current iPhone 6, with no major cosmetic tweaks on the outside, adding Force Touch and haptic feedback as part of its user interface will open up new possibilities in terms of interaction.

There seems to be some truth to the rumor, as it supports the current view that the upcoming iOS 9 is designed to be Force Touch-ready, and developers are also already looking into integrating Force Touch interface to App Store apps.

Along with the new Force Touch tech, Apple is also reportedly updating its keyboard for the new iPhone and there will be several keyboard designs that new iPhone owners can use to customize and suit their needs. Some speculate that since Apple is not content with user feedback on the QuickType keyboard in iOS 8, it will be introducing some radical new designs such as a longer one containing more keys and one that will will include additional editing controls while being used in portrait mode.

As with other speculations on the new features, there are still no details on when the next iPhone will come out. And with the impending release of the iOS 9 in the latter half of the year, observers and Apple fans are hoping that Apple would release the next iPhone before the year ends.
