There's no stopping the Apple rumor chain. With iPhone 6S and 6S Plus having just been revealed, focus within the tech industry is now shifting toward the next big thing, the iPhone 7.

Before tackling when this still unconfirmed phone might be launching, there are some interesting rumors to digest concerning just what it might be offering to users.

Among the most notable of rumors concerning the iPhone 7 is that it will supposedly feature an all-new processor, one that is potentially more powerful than anything the company has offered prior. The new processor, rumored to be known as the A10, according to Know Your Mobile, would indeed be the most advanced one Apple has featured in their phones.

Apple is already reportedly looking into using a new A9x chip for their iPad Air 3, so the new processor that could be featured by the iPhone 7 would be a step up from that. Not much else is known about the A10 processor other than it will be a hexa-core model.

Some structural changes are also reportedly being prepped for the iPhone 7.

If the rumors prove to be true, then the newest device will be featuring a new kind of casing material, although there has been no word on what that will actually be.

The iPhone 7 is also expected to be dustproof and waterproof to match up with some Android units already in the market, according to 9 to 5 Mac.

Going back to when Apple fans might reasonably expect this new iPhone to hit the market, considering just how preliminary the rumors are and how Apple has handled their releases lately, it's believed that the iPhone 7 could come out by next year, most likely during the latter part of it.

Unfortunately, rumors regarding the iPhone 7 are not exactly reliable right now, although it doesn't hurt to get an early idea of what the Apple's latest offerings might be bringing to the table.
