It is definitely a wicked and sinister coincidence that "It," the horror movie reboot, has clocked in at $666 million global revenue on the eve of Halloween.

"It's" popularity has apparently not diminished, as the growing earnings of the horror movie show that people are still flocking the theaters for it. This has put the domestic earnings of "It" at $323,730,202 and foreign earnings at $342,900,000, adding up to $666,630,202 or approximately $666 million a day before Halloween. That said, the revenue may easily get one more million by the time Halloween is over, provided that the movie's timeliness holds true for the season.

"It" is now one of the highest grossing horror movies of all time, which is astounding for a horror movie reboot. It has even surpassed "The Exorcist" as the highest grossing R-rated horror movie of all time. Due to popular demand, the director will be releasing a special cut for DVD. This Director's Cut may include some popular and notorious deleted scenes, the most disturbing of which is when Pennywise, the film's antagonist, ate a live baby.

A sequel for "It" has already been planned as well, with Andy Muschietti returning as the director for the planned September 2019 release. Not much has been revealed regarding the details of the upcoming sequel, titled "It: Chapter Two," but Muschietti has stated that it may switch between the present and the past, including flashbacks of the children defeating Pennywise. Alternatively, the movie may also explore the killer clown's past and origin story, revealing more about the mysterious antagonist and expand his ominous background.

"It" is the second live-action adaption of a novel of the same name authored by Stephen King. "It" was first adapted for television, as a horror-drama miniseries back in 1990 and was not as well received as the 2017 film. Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise is expected to reprise his role for the 2019 sequel.
