Only three episodes are left in the first season of "Jane the Virgin," which means that viewers are already eager to find out what will happen next in the critically-acclaimed comedy-drama series.

In the previous episode, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) had to live through with her decision when she turned down Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) offer. The soon-to-be parents used to have a scorching-hot budding romance, but the fire seems to have died down after the failed proposal.

Rodriguez talked about the upcoming episodes during the show's PaleyFest appearance on Sunday. She teased viewers that they will find out how Jane and Rafael's relationship changes.

"You're going to go on the journey of what happens when two people are not on the same page," the actress said.

She also shared that Jane likes to do things that not everyone normally does.

"I think most people would be like 'Ehh, yes' because it's terrifying to tell somebody what you really feel and it's terrifying to break somebody's heart that you love, and it's terrifying to think that you could actually convince someone that you want the same things just not right now," Rodriguez said.

Also, the upcoming episodes will focus on the impending childbirth. According to the cast members of the show who were present at the PaleyFest panel, the baby's birth will be highly-emotional and funny at the same time.

Meanwhile, Jaime Camil, the actor who portrays the role of Rogelio in the series, mentioned that the final climactic scenes for the season have not been filmed yet.

"We're shooting seven more days, we have this week to go," the actor said. "I hope they don't show the birth."

"Jane the Virgin" airs Mondays on The CW.
