There will not be one, but two weddings, when CW's romantic comedy-drama series returns for its second season.

Executive producer Jennie Urman revealed the news to TV Guide, as well as other tidbits on what viewers can expect for the show's newest installment. According to her, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will finally decide whom to choose between Rafael (Justin Baldoni), the father of her child, and ex-fiancé Michael (Brett Dier).

"Jane will make a choice with one of the guys, eventually, and we will have a wedding at some point in the season," she said.

The other couple who will get married, however, is still a surprise. Urman said that union would actually be the first to go and that it would be a huge celebration.

"By the fifth episode there's an unexpected marriage of two characters, and that's going to be the first wedding. And of course our weddings will have big, fun, whimsical set pieces."

Season 1 ended when Jane gave birth to a boy named Mateo. Her happiness, however, was short-lived when the baby was kidnapped by Sin Rostro. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Rodriguez said that her character's predicament would make her "a stronger person."

"I think you're going to see Jane's strength. I'm hoping we're going to see the crazy amount of strength she has, to see Jane be a mother and not a passive aggressive one, but a very strong, forward mother. But we'll see! We'll see what happens!" the actress said.

Meanwhile, fans will be ecstatic to know that the much-awaited return of their favorite show has been moved a week early than previously announced. According to Spoiler TV, the CW Network has changed the return date of the award-winning series. Instead of Oct. 19, "Jane the Virgin" season 2 will air Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. EST.
