A huge amount of news regarding Jennifer Aniston's pregnancy broke out earlier this week, and it seems to keep on growing to the point of being uncontrollable. The 45-year-old "Friends" actress is rumored (for the nth time) to be expecting a baby soon.

The rumors range from Aniston having a baby with her fiancé Justin Theroux in secret, to Aniston adopting a baby without Theroux's knowledge and help.

Aniston's rep denied the allegations that were clearly faulty on so many levels. Whether or not tabloids and other media outlets disseminate the news with the truth scraped intentionally, the rumors are only being intensified (which is probably their main goal in the first place).

Theroux, Aniston's partner of two years, was not spared of the issue of course, and in turn made an effort to stop the whirlwind of false news from affecting his relationship with the star any further.

"There is this hum of pressure that – I can't stress enough – I don't pay any attention to. I am not going to let a tabloid tell me what to do. I'm not going to watch them tap their watch. We're just doing our own thing. We are completely happy, obviously, but we're not on anyone else's timeframe," Theroux stated.

But to no avail, news only spread even more widely. Some reports have gone so far as giving a gender to a baby that, as consistently explained by Aniston's camp, does not exist.

Yet in the middle of all the issues, Theroux looks forward to take on the daddy responsibility. He told Marie Claire in an interview that he is being more and more protective of his on-screen kids.

He said, "The strange thing is that I've started to feel oddly parental towards my on-screen children. They've just moved to New York for the show and I've gotten a little protective, making sure they get home OK..."

"I'm a real protective fake dad," he added. "Good practice, I venture? Well, I'm great with teenagers but the in-between bit... at least I didn't have to deal with any diaper changing."
