Fan-favorite NBA player for the Charlotte Hornets Jeremy Lin bounced back to the top of his game in the recent match between the Hornets and the Brooklyn Nets. As stated in a report from Morning News USA, Lin's performance during the final quarter is what led to the Hornets' victory with a 116-111 final score card.

Throughout the game Lin scored 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Coach Steve Clifford made sure to keep Lin on the court for the duration of the final quarter of the game, allowing Lin to garner 9 of his 13 points. The Hornets enjoyed a 13-4 point run against the Nets, a run where Lin scored 6 points total.

As stated in the report, Lin had suffered a "dry run" during the previous 2 games and fans speculated if the popular NBA player would ever be able to play as good as he did during the height of the "Linsanity" era. Apparently this dry run has ended during this match and fans hope that Lin will continue to shine in future games.

The match against the Nets started in the opponent's favor, with the Nets beating down the Hornets with an impressive 10-point lead in the first quarter. Nets' Thaddeus Young even managed to score a game total of 27 points, but it all amounted to nothing when the Nets and Hornets tied by the end of the third quarter.

After the Hornets managed to catch up, they immediately overtook the game, with Lin's play and Jeremy Lamb's foul shots putting the Hornets a few points ahead of the competition.

"If you looked at every game this season, we've got off to fast starts, and there are probably seven or eight games where we're up 10 or 15 points and we lost,'' Young stated in a report from the New York Post. "It could be a little fatigue, but that's no excuse for the missed opportunities. We had every chance to win that game and it slipped by.''
