Basketball superstar Jeremy Lin, the newest addition to the Charlotte Hornets, recently put on a fake beard and wig and pretended to be the world's worst gym trainer named "Wayne." It was for a short 6-minute video for Adidas titled "Undercover Trainers." In the clip, Lin is shown messing around with people as they exercise, alongside Vaness Wu, a renowned actor and singer in Taiwan.

As Wayne, Lin begins the video by working at the front desk. Instead of carefully handing out towels to gym clients, he tosses them carelessly. At one point in the video, one of the clients is seen wearing a Jeremy Lin Hornets' jersey to which Lin reacts to with disgust.

Following his time at the front desk, Lin begins looking over the clients as they exercise. He gives one client a funny nickname and challenges another client to a deal he eventually loses. Lin does 10 poorly performed push-ups as punishment.

One of the clients is seen getting ready to do a few exercises to which Jeremy joins in for a funny warm-up session. He then moves on to floor where the other clients are exercising. Throughout his time on the floor, he gives numerous clients ill advice on working out.

For their finale, Wu and Lin crash an aerobics session.

Lin later learns that the woman he challenged to a deal of dead-lifting is an Olympic medalist. He then interacts with the clients he played around with, and one of them eventually identifies him as NBA star Jeremy Lin, despite Lin jokingly pointing that Wu was the "real" Jeremy Lin.

Formerly of the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and LA Lakers, Lin recently signed on to the Charlotte Hornets with a 2-year contract for nearly $5 million. While also famous for initiating the "Linsanity" fandom back in 2012, he is also a well-known Evangelical Christian and his official website offers a special prayer request line.
