Although "19 Kids and Counting" has been recently cancelled by TLC, life goes on for Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard as they have chosen to focus on their missionary work instead. This week, the couple updated their official blog to let their followers know that they have arrived on the mission field, and they revealed which part of the world they are in at the moment.

Earlier this month, the couple didn't specify the exact location where they are based or what specific country they are in "for security purposes." But on July 18, they wrote on the Dillard Family Blog that they are now in Central America and that their three-month old son, Israel, is doing well in his new surroundings.

"Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom's milk), and language faster than Jill and I are," Derick wrote.

The proud father added that their son has been "the talk of the town" and that everywhere they go, the people want to see and hold the "big blue-eyed, white baby."

The blog update said that the couple has managed to talk briefly to their family members back in the U.S. since arriving in their new home. Derek also shared that after sharing God's Word at a man's house, the man's mother decided to "give lordship of her life to Christ."

"This transpired just one day after her Christian son was restored to fellowship in his local church," he shared.

Derek also asked for prayers so that they may be able to touch more lives and that many more would repent of their ways and turn to God's way for their life. The family also shared a link for fans to help support their mission financially. In late June, the couple announced that their intention was to move abroad for a long-term mission project.
