After the romantic victory celebrated at WrestleMania 33 where John Cena proposed to tag team partner Nikki Bella, the couple comes one step closer to their wedding day with their recently celebrated engagement party.

Friends and family of Cena and Bella gathered Saturday, Jan 13, to celebrate the couple's engagement, nine months after the big screen proposal. The two have been together for six years prior to the proposal and will be newlyweds later this year.

In a clip from "Total Divas," a reality TV series featuring the women of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Nikki was surprised by her twin sister, Brie Bella with a private fitting for her wedding gown. The video shows the sisters in a private room with an array of different gowns in different designs, as they hug it out in sisterly love. Nikki goes on to express her joy and gratitude for the surprise fitting.

The surprise comes only two weeks after the couple's engagement party, and hints that the wedding might be sooner than fans expected. Nikki also commented on a few wedding plan questions in the show, claiming they changed the venue for the wedding to one that is closer to her and Cena's heart, "Let's just do what we always wanted, you know?" Nikki said pertaining to the discussion with Cena.

There is no news as of writing when or where the wedding will take place. It seems the couple is keeping the event private for now, although Bella hopes to be able to share it with her fans.

Cena is a WWE super star and former champion who has won a total of 25 championships. He is currently a fee agent for the WWE. Nikki is a WWE female star and one half of the Bella Twins, a tag team partnership with her sister Brie. Cena and Bella got engaged following the events at WrestleMania 33 in April 2107.
