Keanu Reeves is hitting the big screen once again as the well-known undercover assassin in "John Wick 2."

"John Wick" tells the story of a retired assassin who was trying to live the simple life with his wife. Unfortunately, John's wife passed away due to an illness, leaving him emotionally vulnerable. Despite John's loss, he was left with a puppy to keep him company during the absence of his late wife.

Sometime after John's wife passed, he encountered a couple of bad guys that soon broke into his house, beat him up, and then killed his beloved puppy Daisy. After recovering from the ambush at his own house, John set out to get revenge on the guys who killed his dog.

"John Wick" ended with John defeating almost all of the bad guys. Though John might have successfully avenged his dog, he unfortunately lost an ally. The death of John's ally is rumored to pave the way for "John Wick 2's" new storyline.

As of now, there is no official news yet about "John Wick 2's" plot, but a recently released 10-second teaser trailer for "John Wick 2" suggests that John might be coming out of retirement.

The new teaser trailer for "John Wick 2" shows John being tailored a suit in a place that apparently looks like a gun shed. It is rumored that John will be fulfilling a promise he made to his old friend, which is why there's a big chance that John will be back on the streets as an undercover assassin.

Additionally, "John Wick 2" is speculated to be set in Europe, where John will take over an association of underground assassins.

There's not much news yet about the plot, but more can be uncovered soon about "John Wick 2" on the release of its official trailer during the Comic Con event in New York this Saturday, Oct. 8.

The "John Wick" sequel will be directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad. Fans can also expect familiar faces from the first movie including John Leguizamo and Ian McShane, as well as new faces like Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Common, Peter Stormare and Riccardo Scamarcio.

"John Wick 2" is slated for a release in theatres come Friday, February 10, 2017.
