Jon Gosselin is ready to fight for one of his eight children with Kate Gosselin. The former reality star has recently filed papers in Berks County, Pennslvania, seeking full custody of his daughter, 11-year old Hannah, according to various reports.

In a statement, Jon's attorney Kristen Doleva-Lecher told Us Weekly, "Jon's priority is what is best for the kids…[He will] fight for them. Jon is currently not commenting on the situation. His focus remains on his children."

There is no word yet on why Jon, 38, is specifically seeking custody of Hannah and not his other children. However, a source from E! Online says, "Jon is filing for custody because Hannah has expressed she is unhappy and uncomfortable in the house with Kate Gosselin."

The source added that if he could, the DJ would take all of his kids and not just Hannah.

"In a perfect world, Jon would take all the kids, but he's not in a position to. For now, he's at least trying to help Hannah. Out of all the children, she's the one voicing her discomfort," said the insider.

Jon and Kate raised all of their eight kids on their TLC show 'Kate Plus 8'. Since their divorce in 2009, Kate has had primary custody of their children. As of now, the former couple's custody agreement is still in place, and Jon only sees the children when it's his turn to be with them.

Meanwhile, In Touch reports that the custody battle over Hannah has taken an explosive turn. According to the magazine, Jon called his local Pennsylvania child services and took emergency custody of Hannah when she complained about her mother's "cruelty".

After spending four days with her father, Hannah reportedly went home to her mother's house, but according to the magazine's source, the latest battle is just the beginning.

"Jon will be filing a petition to modify custody, and if he gets it, he'll be contacting TLC to put a stop to filming," said the insider to In Touch. "He wants them to be safe and have a normal childhood."
