Conor McGregor is making sure he is ready for anything, not leaving anything to chance when he finally meets Jose Aldo for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 194 which happen at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas on Dec. 12.

The two will finally come face-to-face after the original tiff that was supposed to take place last July for UFC 189 went down the drain.

At the time, Aldo had to withdraw from the match on account of a rib injury and McGregor ended up facing Chad Mendes instead. The Notorious won, of course, and now he hopes that Aldo will have no alibis despite rumors that the Brazilian champion may not show up.

Regardless if his opponent shows up or not, McGregor promises to be there. In fact he has started to train 'Rocky' style at a Los Angeles beach as he tries to acclimatize himself before he gets it on with Aldo inside the Octagon.

Heading into the fight, McGregor and his camp are pretty much confident that they will put an end to Aldo's reign.

The Notorious' coach John Kavanagh sees two possible scenarios — one ending in about 60 seconds and the other going as far as two rounds. Either way, he believes McGregor will come out the winner.

He does, however, know for a fact that Aldo will be up to something. The Brazilian champ will likely try to slow down the pace and resort to grappling, the same way that Mendez did back in July.

Wake up Jose. It's all over.

On the part of Aldo, the Brazilian fighter has finally shown some signs of life despite being silent in the past couple of months. Being the real champion, he intends to punish and hopefully shut up McGregor when they do meet.

A win on his part will likely work but he knows for a fact that such can only silence McGregor for just a night before he starts yapping again.

Regardless, that Dec. 12 fight should be something to watch. It will pit two fighters who obviously hate each other and that is perhaps what makes it all the more interesting.
