It looks like the next "Jurassic World" installment is going to bring the best of both worlds once it hits the big screen.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, director JA Bayona talks about his upcoming film projects, a fantasy drama film "A Monster Calls" and, of course, the fifth installment in the "Jurassic Park" film franchise, "Jurassic World 2."

When questioned whether the new "Jurassic Park" film will be more like "Jurassic World" or it will stick to the original franchise, Bayano explains how the film will tie in both Colin Trevorrow's 2015 reboot and the films in the original trilogy.

"That's a good question! I think somehow it's both. It's a very good question, and what we're doing is a sequel to 'Jurassic World,' but it's definitely the fifth chapter of a longer saga," the director said. "It's very interesting. It's always tricky, but you need to find a balance in what people expect to find, and the new stuff you're bringing to the story. And I think the story is looking for a connection between 'Jurassic World' and 'Jurassic Park' -- more than what 'Jurassic World' did," he added.

Meanwhile, Treverrow praises the work of Bayona on the new "Jurassic World 2" and teases fans saying that the film would be a bit more intense when compared to the first "Jurassic World" film.

Treverrow had originally wanted to work on the "Jurassic World" sequel, however the director was forced to put down his handle on the film after Lucasfilm reeled him in to direct the ninth installment in the "Star Wars" film franchise.

"It will be more suspenseful and scary. It's just the way it's designed," Treverrow said. "It's the way the story plays out. I knew I wanted [J.A.] Bayona to direct it long before anyone ever heard that was a possibility, so the whole thing was just built around his skillset," he added.
