The final season DLC for "Just Cause 3" has gone live for Season Pass holders. Meanwhile, those who prefer to get the new expansion content as a stand-alone purchase will have to wait until next week, as the "Bavarium Sea Heist" DLC will roll out on Thursday.

In the announcement on the official website, developer Avalanche Studios has listed new details on the last DLC for the "Air, Land, and Sea" expansion content for "Just Cause 3." The new DLC will let players explore an offshore base – tagged as the Stingray Research Station – off West Medici, in the coastal waters of Scolio. Players will then get a chance to acquire the Eden Spark gun, able to shoot off blasts of lightning at enemies.

As part of the "Sea" part for the season, the "Bavarium Sea Heist" DLC also comes with an all-new customizable rocket boat, the Loochador. The new sea-based vehicle comes with assorted weapons, including multi-lock missile launchers. The boat is also outfitted with different mini-guns.

Season Pass holders are the first ones to experience the new DLC, now live for "Air, Land, and Sea" Season Pass holders for $24.99. On Aug. 18, the new DLC can be purchased as a stand-alone add-on for $5.99.

With the launch of the "Bavarium Sea Heist," the first season for "Just Cause 3" is now complete. It rounds off the update for the game, and it is unclear if another round of DLCs will be released. As for the three DLCs, the developer has stated that it already achieved "new experience" for players. "Our aim with the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass was to completely alter the way players tackle the game and we've achieved just that," said Marcus Andrews, lead designer at Avalanche Studios.

Previous expansion content under the "Air, Land, and Sea" season included "Sky Fortress" and "Mech Land Assault."
