It's one of those rare moments when the Royal Palace shares pictures of the royal babies, and that's just what the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, did over the weekend.

According to E! Online, the Palace released on Twitter last Sunday two new photos of Middleton's youngest child with Prince William, Princess Charlotte.

The news outlet added that it was the first time the adorable princess' photos were released to the public since her July christening.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte," a statement coming from Kensington Palace said, as seen on Instagram.

Fans also did not fail to notice what the little princess is wearing. As seen on the photo, Charlotte is wearing a floral dress and a pink cardigan. In one of the photos, she sits still on a blue/white checkered chair and appears to be focused on something or someone.

In the other photo, she was looking jolly as she was seen delighted by the presence of a stuffed dog beside her.

What's sweet about the photo is that the Duchess took the photos herself earlier this month in Norfolk, according to the Kensington Royal's post.

The statement from the Palace also said that the photos were released to thank all the monarchs' supporters for the well wishes they gave the royal couple.

The Duchess of Cambridge managed to capture such lovely shots because she is an accomplished amateur photographer, as reported in Metro.

She also took a portrait of her firstborn, two-year-old Prince George, together with the now six-month-old Charlotte, when she was born on May 2.

With the freshly released photos, the Duke and Duchess only hope that fans were delighted to see the newest addition to their family.
