Kendrick Lamar gave a powerful performance at Friday night's Grammy Awards 2016 ceremony, delighting fans as be moved through various different backdrops to give one of the stand out performances of the evening. A video of Kendrick Lamar's Grammys performance will be posted below when made available, as well as information on how to watch tonight's Grammy Awards 2016 ceremony event.

Lamar released his third studio album titled "To Pimp a Butterfly", which debuted at the top of charts in the U.S. and the UK.

The album earned him his first two Grammy Awards at the 2015 ceremony.

The rapper has of course also collaborated with Taylor Swift for her song "Bad Blood" which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Overall Lamar has received seven Grammy Awards.

Lamar was joined performing at the Grammys by the likes of Adele, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, as well as Demi Lovato and even Johnny Depp among others.

Gaga is scheduled to perform a seven minute tribute to British star David Bowie, who passed away earlier this year.

Gaga's song "Til It Happens to you" has been nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Music, and her performance is sure to be one of the most talked about events of tonight's Grammys.

Taylor Swift opened the ceremony at about 8 p.m. ET, and gave a stunning performance of "Out of the Woods".

Swift has been nominated for Record of the Year for "Blank Space", and has been in the news in recent days not for her own songs, but because of controversial lyrics in Kanye West's new song "Famous".

In that song, West calls Swift the "B" word as well as talks about having sexual relations with the singer - all this despite the fact that West is married to Kim Kardashian, and has two young children himself.

Adele is coming off a three year break, ending 2015 by releasing her third album, again to high critical acclaim, titled "25". The album broke first week sales records in both the US and UK, and debuted at number 1 in album charts around the globe.

The lead single on the album, "Hello", became the first song in the US to sell over one million digital copies within a week of its opening.

Adele's new album "25" is not up for the Album of the Year Grammy tonight as it was not released in time to be eligible for this year's awards ceremony.

Despite that, Adele's album is one of the most talked about albums in recent months, and the 10 time Grammy award winner is likely to belt out her recently released second single from the album, "When We Were Young."

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber will be taking to the stage with Diplo and Skrillex, with the trio set to perform their hit single "Where Are U Now" - which is up for the Best Dance Recording award.

Monday night's Grammy Awards 2016 ceremony will be hosted by LL Cool J, and can be watched on TV live on the CBS network from 8 p.m. ET or online through live stream by clicking here.
