Game developer Warhorse Studios has introduced a new update to the action-adventure video game "Kingdom Come: Deliverance." Patch 1.3.1 may have enabled a lot of new changes that improved gameplay, but there have been bugs, suggesting that this hotfix to patch 1.3 may need a hotfix of its own.

Warhorse Studios has been hard at work on churning out patches for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. On March 10, patch 1.3.1 for PC was released.

The update is now available and will begin downloading once players launch the game on Steam. With its release comes new additions such as a new Save and Exit feature, as well as improved overall performance. Other than this, there are also a lot of changes to the gameplay that may make some tasks and actions easier to accomplish.

For example, the lockpicking aspect of the game has been improved, and the risk indicator for pickpocketing is more precise as well. Players will also be able to see which beds they should sleep in if they intend to save their game.

There are other improvements and additional features, but perhaps the most important of them all is that patch 1.3.1 improves central processing unit (CPU) load balancing, enabling the game itself to perform better.

However, that does not mean that it is all smooth sailing from the patch 1.3.1 launch. There are reports of problems in some of the game's visual aspects, likely brought on by the changes enabled by path 1.3.1.

A Reddit thread of "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" players discussing the bugs they experienced in the game can be found here.

Daniel Vavra, founder of Warhorse Studios, confirmed in a tweet that patch 1.3.1 did indeed affect some visual aspects of the game for some players.

Patch 1.3.1 is actually a hotfix intended to optimize "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" for PC. Vavra has asked players to not fiddle with the game's Advanced Graphics Settings, since Warhorse Studios will be coming up with another hotfix to deal with the issue.

However, Vavra also suggested that some bugs may have been caused by mods in the game.

"Kingdom Come: Deliverance" is available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
