"Kingdom Hearts 3" (KH3) is undoubtedly one of the most awaited games in the "Kingdom Hearts" series. As it is nearing its release date, more and more rumors and news have been popping up all over the internet. Now, the latest rumors even suggest that a new world will be featured and that Riku can even be playable.

The leak first came from a blurb for the game that was written in the PlayStation Official Magazine Australia, as per KH Insider. "The latest game in the Disney-meets-'Final Fantasy' mash-up series is split between the perspective of best buds Sora and Riku," read the blurb from the magazine.

It continued, "You will meet a hose of new characters whose help you'll need to stop the evil Keyblade war. Familiar faces and places return but there are new worlds to visit by 'Toy Story,' 'Fantasia,' and 'Tangled.'"

Fans would notice that while the "Toy Story" and the "Tangled" worlds are nothing new, a "Fantasia" world is one that has not come up in "KH3" talks yet.

As mentioned in the first sentence of the blurb, it says that players will be "split between the perspectives." For that to be true, that would then entail that Riku may just be playable in "KH3." Otherwise, there would be not much sense to adding that in the blurb. If not, it might be plausible for the game to possibly show a lot of cutscenes for Riku although nothing is sure at this point.

According to GamingBolt, it even mentions some new information to the game's combat mechanics. While hearing about new weapons and mechanics may not be something new, the blurb does mention that players will "now able to wall-run and even climb larger enemies."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" has no official release date yet. Some think it might get delayed again, but with all the new trailers and teasers, hopefully, it does get released this year.
