The new trailer is expected to feature new details about the game, including new characters. While Square Exis has yet to confirm it, rumors say that the new "Kingdom Hearts 3" will have an expanded set of Disney characters, which includes recent franchise additions like Baymax from "Big Hero 6."

Meanwhile, it has already been confirmed that since Disney has expanded its rights to include Marvel and Lucas Arts projects, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will also include an expanded world like the New York City set in "Avengers" and some locations related to the "Star Wars" franchise. It is unclear if some characters from the franchises will also make an appearance.

The announcement at the event is also expected to include the game's final title, since "Kingdom Hearts 3" seems to be a tentative one. Reportedly, game director Tetsuya Nomura has been quoted as saying that based on the worlds for the new game, the title will be about "the final episode in the Dark Seeker saga that began with original Kingdom Hearts, and it'll depict the final battle with Xenahort".
