Square Enix has already shared a bunch of promotional images and trailer videos for its much-awaited game title, "Kingdom Hearts 3," but the game studio has yet to confirm an exact release date. Based on earlier reports, the progress in developing the game is already around 60 percent, so some fans have expected that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be out sometime in 2019. However, a recent listing claims that the game could be out as early as October of this year.

According to the video game listing for "Kingdom Hearts 3" posted on the Target website, the title can be expected in the last week of October. The pre-order listing sets the release date of the game on October 31st, the last date of the month, and those who have already pre-ordered could get the game on November 1.

While this information sounds reliable, given the exact date specified on the listing, the end of the month release dates on retail websites are usually just placeholder dates. Given that Square Enix has yet to announce the details regarding the launch date, the public is advised to take this latest "Kingdom Hearts 3" scoop with a grain of salt.

Per VG 24/7, Square Enix could provide more details on "Kingdom Hearts 3," including a brand new trailer and release date, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2018 this coming June. It was already speculated that if the game would be released this year, it would most likely drop around Fall, thus supporting the October 31st release date from the Target website.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to introduce new Disney worlds and characters in the series. The Disney contents to be featured in the upcoming installment include "Toy Story," "Tangled," "Hercules," "Big Hero 6" and "Monster Inc." Although, there are rumors that Square Enix has yet to reveal the sixth and final Disney world in the game.

The chances are Square Enix will make the big announcement regarding the new Disney feature in "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2018.

The fans have been expecting the arrival of "Kingdom Hearts 3" for quite some time now, especially that Square Enix promised that the game would be released four years afters its announcement at the E3 2013 conference. "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be playable in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
