Square Enix has already provided a bunch of details regarding its upcoming video game "Kingdom Hearts 3." The fans have waited for a long time to see Sora and his friends venturing on new Disney worlds, and their interest for the game grew after catching the glimpse of the keyblade transformation. To shed light on this new "Kingdom Hearts" feature, game director Tetsuya Nomura talked about how the keyblade transformation works in-game.

The previous teasers for "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the recent months made the public curious about the keyblade transformations. In a recent interview, Nomura tried to give away too much details about the transformation, although he explained how the players can use them depending on particular situations. For one, the giant hammer and drill keyblade transformations teased in the "Toy Story" world shwo that players can only begin one transformation stage and proceed with the next after perfecting the use of combination techniques.

The latest "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailers also gave a sneak peek to the new combat changes, including the use of hair in the "Tangled" universe to take down the enemies. Interestingly, the keyblade transformations also apply here, as well as in the Mirage Staff transformations.

In spite of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailers and game stills provided by Square Enix, the studio has yet to give an exact release date for the title. It is rumored that the game could be released as early as this year, but everything will still depend on the "KH3" team's progress. Nomura revealed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is being completed part by part and so far, the first part of the game is around 95 percent complete. The second part of the title is already 75 percent finished, although Nomura did not give definite information about the progress in the third and last part.

Nevertheless, these numbers suggest that the game is now on its last phase of completion, but one could hope that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will arrive in the last quarter of 2018.
