'King's Game: The Animation' episode 4 spoilers: What is driving force behind Natsuko's actions?

"King's Game: The Animation" airs Thursdays on ATX.YouTube/Warner Music Japan

The upcoming episode of "King's Game: The Animation" will see some developments on the sides of the series' main characters, Nobuaki Kanazawa and Natsuko Honda.

Nobuaki has found himself some new allies, but Natsuko is also determined to take him down. It does pose a question as to what Natsuko will have planned against him – more importantly, why is he going to do this? There is definitely a driving force behind Natsuko's actions and that is something that fans may see throughout the episode.

After the King's Game started, the number of students in Kure Academy's second year class one have decreased. From 32 it became 22, due to 10 students being unable to follow the King's order. Nobuaki and Natsuko are at the center of the game, and both of which have differing perspectives on how to play it.

Nobuaki has somewhat of an advantage, as he has already played the game in his old high school. He prefers to unite everyone in the class in order to find a way to defeat the game without any more casualties. However, his ideals have only made him an enemy of most of his classmates, partly because of Natsuko convincing them otherwise.

Clearly, Natsuko is so determined to take Nobuaki's life, but why? That remains to be seen, along with many other questions that surround the game, as well as the people playing it. Nobuaki may have had to do some questionable things, but it was because he wanted to save his best friend, Naoya Hashimoto, and girlfriend, Chiemi Honda. It should also be noted that Natsuko and Chiemi have the same last name, and whether or not that has any importance to what is happening remains to be seen as well.

"King's Game: The Animation" will air on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. EDT on ATX.
