With ace left-hander Clayton Kershaw (who has herniated disk in lower back) not casting with the side anytime soon, Hyun-Jin Ryu and Brett Anderson injured, and the 2016 MLB trade deadline rapidly approaching, (just about a week untill August 1st), the Los Angeles Dodgers latest trade rumors are starting to heat up and are sure to catch your attention.

Los Angeles Dodgers are willing to include top pitching prospect in baseball, 19 year old Julio Urias. Although he was involved in potential trade talks with the Chicago White Sox, his future with them seems tenuous. Urias is playing with Triple-A Oklahoma City, but has appeared in nine games for the Dodgers this season, providing a 4.69 ERA and a 48:17 K:BB ratio over 40 1/3 innings, looks to need a little more development before being lethal at the next level. Despite that, Urias has been considered off limits in Dodgers trade talks up until now.

In return for Urias, the Dodgers might be looking to acquire Chris Sale. Sale, the All-Star Game starter for the AL, holds a 14-3 record along with a 3.18 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 129:29 strikeout-to-walk ratio, according to a report from ESPN. He is currently suspended from the team for insubordination but it is not clear if the White Sox are willing to part with him. If they do, the Dodgers are willing to make a sizeable offer according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. He is under club control through 2019 for less than $14 million annually

The Dodgers are 56-44, and struggling to fight for their life as they entered 2 1/2 games back of the NL West lead and a 2 1/2-game lead on the NL wild card. They are in desperate need of an upgrade or two of superstar pitcher, before the deadline hits

Meanwhile, Sherman also mentions Quintana and the Rays' Chris Archer as possible targets.
