Lamar Odom is miraculously doing well, although doctors continue to caution everyone that the former National Basketball Association (NBA) cager is still in close watch for possible setbacks.

Odom has made remarkable progress ever since being found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas, and he has been receiving an outpouring of support and well-wishers.

Among those players who went out of their way to provide support for Odom include his former buddies when he played for the Los Angele Clippers, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and head coach Doc Rivers.

Griffin played with Odom for one season and the star forward has not forgotten the things he learned from Odom. He recalled how Odom advised him about the realities of NBA basketball and told him to just shake it off and just enjoy the game.

Paul made it a point to visit Odom, although the latter may probably not be aware that he was there. With a lot of people showing concern on Odom, the only thing important for Paul is that he was there to check on his friend.

Head coach Rivers, on the other hand, felt disheartened with what Odom went through and bared that Odom was someone who typified the kind of spirit the Clippers should embrace.

Part of that included enjoying the company of your teammates and focus when game time comes. He likewise pointed out that Odom's setback was a result of things he was exposed to outside the basketball court.

In all, Odom is seen as a great teammate by most who have had the chance to play with the fallen NBA forward. Kobe Bryant was among the first players to rush by his side and that alone speaks highly on what Odom was on the basketball court.

For now, Odom is making great progress and prayers are still being solicited for his fast recovery.
