Last month, Khloe Kardashian gave an update about her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and said that he still had some way to go as he was about to undergo therapy to reverse the damage brought upon by his accidental overdose in October.

The reality star said that she expects that the former NBA star will be "mentally fully recovered" in a year and a half. But now, a source told Entertainment Tonight that it might take Odom longer than that before he's back to his old self.

"He's not doing great," said a source to ET. "His speech is slurred and he can barely walk on his own yet. He forgets a lot of people's names—sometimes even his own. He definitely has some memory loss."

Meanwhile, a source with Radar Online claimed that Odom is ready to leave Cedars-Sinai hospital, where he has been treated since late October. The source said that the former athlete was told that doctors couldn't do anything more for him.

"Medically, there isn't anything more that can be done for Lamar at Cedars-Sinai," said the source.

While Odom's condition has yet to improve, the Kardashian family is said to be supporting him every step of the way as ET's source said that they all visit him at the hospital, including Khloe.

Earlier this month, Khloe revealed that she was at Cedars-Sinai to visit Kim, who gave birth at the hospital to her son, Saint. At the hospital, Khloe also took the time to visit Lamar as she tweeted that she was "very familiar" with the facility.
Khloe previously told Ellen DeGeneres that Odom doesn't know why he's at the hospital and that they told him that he has a brain injury, but they didn't tell him how it happened for fear that it will cause a setback in his recovery.

"He's really confused a lot so we have to remind him," said Khloe. "Every day is different."
