"Law & Order: SVU" continues to deliver season after season as it features compelling storylines, with some of them ripped from the headlines. This season, the hit NBC drama will tackle a story inspired by the Duggar family and Josh Duggar's scandals, which made the headlines all throughout the summer.

According to E! Online, the episode titled "Patrimonial Burden" will see Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the rest of the team as they investigate a famous reality TV family after it's found out that the 13-year old daughter is pregnant. Secrets about the seemingly virtuous family will be at play in the episode.

The episode will feature Broadway stars Andy Karl, Geneva Carr, and Christopher Sieber along with guest stars Ryan Devlin, Victoria Leigh, and Chris Elliott. Sieber and Carr will reportedly play the parents to 10 children.

The Duggar family was under a lot of scrutiny when it was revealed last May that eldest son Josh molested several young girls, including two of his sisters, when he was just a young teenager. TLC cancelled the Duggar's show, "19 Kids and Counting" a few weeks after the molestation scandal came to light. In August, Josh was involved in another scandal as it was revealed that he had an account with Ashley Madison, a website which promotes adultery by connecting people looking to have affairs.

Prior to the season 17 premiere of "Law & Order: SVU", Raul Esperanza, who plays ADA Barba on the series, hinted that SVU could tackle Josh Duggar's scandals, but noted that the story would not be exactly the same as what happened to the religious family.

"We don't want to recreate what you just lived through because—we'll never live up to reality because reality's getting really bizarre," he told E!

"Law & Order: SVU" will air the Duggar-inspired episode on Nov. 4 on NBC.
