The LG G4 Pro is said to be the South Korea-based company's next smartphone which, according to a new report, it allegedly plans to reveal on Oct. 10. The handset will reportedly be clad in plastic, feature mounted buttons, and have a whole host of exciting specs.

The device, which rumor mills also refer to as LG G4 Note, recently stopped by TENAA, the telecommunications equipment certification center in China. It showed off what seems to be a metallic frame, the top bezel on the front, and the selfie shooter located on the right of a wide speaker grill.

The LG G4 Pro's rear appears to be made of plastic, and it seems to be removable, too. The camera is sandwiched between its laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. Under it is what's being said is a fingerprint scanner. However, the feature remains unconfirmed since it is hard to tell from the image.

Another photo, this time from leakster Evan Blass, suggests that the LG G4 Pro will go by the name LG V10 and this very moniker is etched on the bottom right of its rear. According to the tipster, this is the name LG plans to use in Asia.

There are separate speculations that LG will go all high-end for the smartphone by dressing it up in full metal. This directly conflicts reports that the device will have a plastic back and a removable battery.

As for the specs, the general consensus is that it is getting a 5.8-inch IPS screen, and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor combined with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage space that's expandable. Users will also get to enjoy taking amazing photos and capturing memories with its 27 MP rear-facing shooter while an 8 MP camera will take care of the selfies.
