Just like hip hop artist Kanye West, former child star Lindsay Lohan is also surprisingly aspiring to become the next president of the United States.

On her Instagram account (@lindsaylohan), the actress says she might just run for the highest position in the land come 2020. "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank you for inspiring us to be better people," she writes.

In another post, Lohan shares a photo taken earlier with West. She then reveals her first agenda as president of the United States: "The first thing I would like to do as president of (America) is take care of all of the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country."

Lohan seems pretty serious about her declaration, but a lot of people thought her plans were a joke. "Can't even take care of herself," an Instagram user writes.

Most of her social media followers were in complete disbelief as well. "I really hope she's kidding," someone else writes, while another comments, "This is a joke, right? Please tell me she's kidding."

Several people poked fun of her plans, while others were just fuming that celebrities are now making a mockery of the US election and democracy itself.

"Does anyone think they can run for president? Do you think we want a drug addict for president? First Donald Trump, then Kanye West, now you," someone says. "Running for and being president is a huge job."

One person even calls Lohan and West as "two of the world's most delusional people."

Surprisingly, however, there were also tons of people who say they would vote for Lohan, should she indeed run for president. "Lindsay Lohan as president - that would be amazing!" a fan exclaims.
