Beyond the Raheem Sterling saga, Liverpool acquired a number of quality players in the past few days and the latest addition is Hungarian goalkeeper Adam Bogdan who will join the club on July 1 via free transfer.

Bogdan's pact with Bolton Wanderers will expire by the end of the month just like Liverpool's latest additions Manchester City midfielder James Milner and Burnley striker Danny Ings.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper has played for Hungary 19 times and will be part of the national squad that will play against Finland in a Euro 2016 qualifier this weekend.

"Liverpool FC are pleased to announce that personal terms have been agreed with Adam Bogdan and the goalkeeper will join the club on a free transfer on July 1 after his contract with Bolton Wanderers has expired," a statement from the Liverpool website read.

Bogdan has faced Liverpool twice and the most recent meeting was in the FA Cup which ended in a 0-0 draw at Anfield back in January.

The Hungarian joined Bolton in 2007 from Vasas Budapest and had 120 senior appearances including 25 shutouts, a report on Bolton's website said.

The Trotters also extended their gratitude to Bogdan as a statement on their website read, "Everyone connected with Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Adam for his contributions during his time with the Whites and wish him well in his future career."

The soon-to-be arrival of Milner, Ings and Bogdan makes Liverpool hope that Sterling would stay with the club for their next Premier League campaign.

Liverpool recently rejected a £25 million bid from Manchester City in their hopes of acquiring Sterling.

Meanwhile, the Reds are yet to settle on a bid with Burnley for Ings as the Clarets are reportedly looking for £10 million for the 22-year-old.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool reportedly had an initial bid of £4 million but it was rejected by Burnley.
