Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino, Liverpool's most recent signing and is subject to a medical after the Copa America, expressed his desire to win championships with the Reds.

The 23-year-old from Hoffenheim said according to ESPN, "It is time to leave Hoffenheim for a bigger club to fight for titles, but for now I am concentrated on the Copa."

Firmino joined Hoffenheim in 2010 for €4 million and had played in 33 games for the club last season scoring seven goals with 10 assists.

Liverpool reportedly signed him to a £29 million deal according to ESPN and is the second-highest signing by the Reds.

West Ham forward Andy Carroll is on the first spot after being signed by Liverpool for £35 million in 2011 from Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Barcelona great Ronaldinho believes Liverpool will improve next season after signing Firmino and believes he will flourish playing alongside countryman Philippe Coutinho.

"It is going to give them one of the most exciting midfields in Europe," Ronaldinho said in a report by the Daily Mirror.

"The creativity, intelligence, and goals they have between them can change Liverpool as a team. It is a big sign of intent. To have a midfield with those two gives them a big chance to qualify for the Champions League next season," the 35-year-old added.

Ronaldinho also said, "It is a dream for the Liverpool strikers, to have that sort of service. If you can't score goals in a team with Coutinho and Firmino in midfield then you won't score goals in any team. They will create so many chances."

The Reds are having one busy offseason and with Firmino heading to Anfield, he will be joining Manchester City midfielder James Milner, Burnley striker Danny Ings, Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan and Charlton defender Joe Gomez as Liverpool's newest acquisitions who will be with the club on July 1 once their contracts expire.
